Measuring your speed.

Why we do not run our own test, and what to use instead.

Public speed tests

Speedtest by Ookla and fast.com measure your connection in general, to their own test servers. They do not measure the route to the servers that deliver your TV streams, so read the result as a guide, not a guarantee.

Tests on the device

Test where you watch. On Fire TV, open Settings, Network and press Play/Pause for the Network Status tool. On recent LG TVs, Settings, All Settings, General, Network shows the connection status.

What you need

The speed planner estimates the download speed your household needs for the screens and quality you use, with a safety margin.

In your browser

The tools work on your device. The checker and converter tell the browser to block every outgoing request.

Nothing kept

No account, no cookie, no browser storage. Close the page and what you typed is gone.

Facts we checked

The compatibility checker uses only what official listings and publishers confirmed.

Tool questions.

Stuck on a step? See the help center.

Are the tools free?

Yes. They need no account and run in your browser.

Do the tools send my details anywhere?

No. The checker and converter block outgoing requests, and none of the tools saves what you enter.

Why is there no Streamora speed test?

A reliable test needs dedicated measurement servers close to you. A test run from our website would only measure the route to our web host, so we point to established tests instead.

Which tool should I start with?

If something does not play, the buffering assistant. If a link or login is refused, the checker.

Where the tools fit

Browser tools for links, apps, speed and buffering; nothing you type is kept.
