Where to send a notice
Email contact@streamoratv.org with "Copyright notice" in the subject line.
What to include
- The work concerned: the channel, programme, event or film you hold rights to.
- Where it appears: enough detail for us to find it, such as the channel or title name, and the date and time you saw it.
- Your details: your name, organisation, postal address, email and telephone number.
- Your authority: a statement that you own the rights or are authorised to act for the owner.
- Good faith: a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- Accuracy: confirmation that everything you have told us in the notice is correct.
- Signature: your physical or electronic signature.
Notices missing key information may take longer, because we may need to ask for it before acting.
What happens next
A valid notice is reviewed and handled within 7 days, by removing or disabling access to the material concerned.
If access was removed by mistake
If you believe material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to contact@streamoratv.org with "Copyright counter-notice" in the subject line. Please include:
- the material that was removed or disabled, and where it appeared before;
- a statement that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, with your reasons;
- your name, address, email and telephone number;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We review each counter-notice and reply to you by email.
Please send notices with care
A notice should concern material you hold rights to and should be accurate. Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can have legal consequences for the sender. This page describes our process and is not legal advice.
