Which version your TV gets
The developer released Smart STB+ for LG televisions on webOS 3 or newer in April 2024, and for Samsung Smart TVs made in 2020 or later in September 2024. Older sets keep the regular version, which works in the same way.
If you already used the regular version on your TV, the developer says your portal and MAC address stay the same in Smart STB+, and your licence carries over without a new purchase.
What you need
- Your Streamora details. Ask for the free 24-hour trial on WhatsApp and tell us which app and device you use. 24/7 support by real humans.
- The device, connected to the internet, and its remote or touch screen.
- A few minutes. Keep our message open so you can copy from it.
Install Smart STB and connect the portal
- Install the app from the TV's store. On a Samsung TV, open the Apps section; on an LG TV, the LG Content Store. Search for Smart STB and install it like any other app.
- Open it and accept the terms. The developer gives a trial licence automatically the first time the app starts.
- Find the Virtual MAC. On the Loading Portal screen, press OK (or tap the screen), open System settings, then Device info. The Virtual MAC is shown in the middle of the screen.
- Send it to us. Message the Virtual MAC on WhatsApp with your trial request or your order. We link it to your access and reply with the portal address.
- Enter the portal. In System settings, open Portals, switch Multiportal mode on and enable Portal 1. Type the address we sent, save it, then make it the default portal so it opens at start-up.
- Restart the app and check that it opens on the Streamora portal.
Working with the TV remote
- Saving. Portal changes are saved with the green key, or F2 on some remotes. Without a green key, press Back or Return, then OK.
- QR shortcut. Rather than typing an address with the remote, scan the QR code on the Loading Portal screen with your phone.
- From a computer. If you registered on the Smart STB website, you can also add or change the portal there, under My subscriptions, then View, then Portal. A Lite licence allows one custom portal.
- One screen. A Streamora subscription plays on one screen at a time. You can move it to another device later; just let us know.
If it does not load
Check the details character by character, restart the app and try again on a cable or closer to the router. The buffering guide covers slow starts and pauses. If it still fails, send us a screenshot on WhatsApp or write to contact@streamoratv.org; 24/7 support by real humans.
Questions about this setup
Does Smart STB work on my TV?
The current Smart STB+ needs a Samsung TV from 2020 or later, or an LG TV with webOS 3 or later. Older sets run the regular version.
Is the Smart STB licence part of my Streamora plan?
No. The licence is sold by the app's developer after its trial; Streamora sells the TV service.
Where do I find the MAC address?
In the app: System settings, then Device info. Send us the Virtual MAC shown there.
Can I change the portal later?
Yes, in System settings, Portals, or on the Smart STB website if you registered there.
